"And It Was Written By a Canadian!"

Get back here, you wacky Nazi:

Like most things in life, this picture would be vastly improved by the addition of 'Yakity Sax.'
According to the source of this pic:

This 60-page comic book is about the early days of World War II and was published in 1941 by the Musson Book Company Ltd. of Toronto. It was purchased for 25 cents at a cigar store in Hamilton in the winter of 1941-42. The title is Mean Scamp-F and the author is Pte. Harry Hall, from the 46th Battalion Canadian Infantry, 1914-1918.

This is a fascinating old comic book – and it was written by a Canadian.

Emphasis mine. Because that amuses me for reasons best left unexplored.

Thanks to rcs.
